Telephone Products
Designed and engineered in America and Europe, we offer five different
product lines and over forty different models, thus creating a Teledex
telephone for every hospitality application.
- iPhone Series telephones combines a
fresh new look with legendary Teledex quality and reliability.
iPhone boasts graceful, sculpted curves that accent a
comfortable, familiar user interface and suitable for virtually
any type of hotel. Available in analog and VoIP, corded and
cordless, iPhone telephones deliver modern, tech-inspired lines
surrounding what’s inside: the industry’s most reliable,
feature-rich telephone.
- Opal Series telephones, with its

stylish and smaller telephone was important. Featuring a

High-Speed Internet Products
ExpressNet™/AirLink™ uses existing wiring, eliminating expensive
recabling. ExpressNet™ does not require properties to install new cable
infrastructure. Utilizing existing copper wires, the ExpressNet™ solution
delivers dependable 1Mbps access to each endpoint. Typically, lodging
properties wishing to deploy HSIA to guestrooms are required to install new
cabling, at significant expenditure, in order to provide the service. Such
re-cabling also tends to be disruptive to property operations during
installation.
Guestroom Terminal Installs Directly to the Underside of Teledex
Telephones
Using the integrated ExpressNet™ adapter, the in-room terminal easily
installs directly to the underside of the majority of Teledex guestroom
telephones, occupying no additional precious real estate space on the
desktop, nor requiring additional equipment installation under the desk or
onto the wall. The ExpressNet™ adapter places the RJ-45 Ethernet jack
conveniently on the base of the telephone.
An Integrated Solution
All the components of the ExpressNet™ solution have been designed and
selected to work together in harmony, providing a trouble-free service that
properties are able to leverage immediately for enhanced competitive
advantage. Besides providing a compact housing for a high-speed Internet
access interface, the patented ExpressPort™ also provides significant
software logic and intelligence that enables simplified integration to a
hotel network, further streamlining the installation of broadband-enabled
terminals in guest rooms. The company's ExpressNet™ AirLink™ solution family
utilizes the patented ExpressPort™ adapter to house VDSL wired and wireless
access points, which use existing telephone wiring (commonly referred to as
CAT 2/3 cabling) to deliver broadband connections to the network endpoints.
The AirLink™ system brings a combination of wired and wireless HSIA to
lodging properties of all types. Rooms that are installed with an AirLink™
wireless access point get both a wired and wireless connection. These rooms
typically represent approximately twenty percent (20%) of the guest rooms at
any one property; all other rooms have wireless-only access. Wired rooms can
be reserved on a first-come first-served basis for those who have an
immediate need, such as government or corporate guests.
Plug-and-Play Guest Convenience
ExpressNet™ software provides for plug-and-play ease of use for the guest.
Network Address Translation Services (NATS), part of the server side
software, requires no reconfiguration of a guest’s laptop computer network
settings. This makes the service attractive for the guest, as well as easy
to manage for the property.
